Early in our career in the specialist design sector, we identified that many projects were incorrectly designed and specified using publicly available data that was usually out of date and not fit for purpose.

On further research, we found that very few specialist consultants existed and further more, those consultants could only really master plan and conceptually design. It was clear that no one could provide detailed engineering designs that could be fabricated, installed, tested and commissioned.

Within the live fire training systems market, knowledge is concentrated in specific vendors that promote particular solutions that are ultimately driven towards selling specific products and services. There are no individuals or companies that can provide a full service from conceptual design to project handover.

Based on this need, Arx Management Consultants was established to satisfy the need to support end users, clients and contractors in the accurate design of tactical live fire training facilities specifically shooting ranges and associated supporting functions. We can offer a full suite of design services from feasibility to construction supervision based on experience from nearly 20 years in the live fire training construction sector.

Our journey in this sector has also given us practical experience in the pre contract delivery of projects including business development, technical sales, specification sales, proposal development and contract closure.
